CSE have been appointed ICT partner to the Steiner Academy Hereford.

This is the first publicly funded Steiner school in the UK and the first Academy to offer Steiner education.

The Academy provides a co-educational school for children from early childhood right through to school leaving age (3 to 16). The Steiner Waldorf approach is based on the simple but profound insight that children learn in different ways at different stages of their development.

CSE have already installed a new administration network and ICT suite and will continue to work with the Academy as the new building programme continues.

New CSE Network Toolkit Update

We are pleased to announce a new release of the Network Toolkit and Workspace Explorer.Net client. This is normally customer installable and is available from the CSE Elements site for authorised users. This release adds some new features and also addresses a number of reported bugs some highlights below for the full release notes please see the CSE Elements site. CSE Network Toolkit Manager

• License Tracking has been changed to use the stations MAC Address.

• Station Administration now allows you to check the CSE Workspace Explorer Client version installed. This allows you to quickly identify stations that are running incorrect client versions.

• Station Admin now includes a “push” installation facility to update station client software.

• Station Admin allows direct access to station data, including the ability to view running processes and services and to see what software is installed and version numbers. You can also examine the stations event logs.

• New display themes have been added.

CSE Workspace Explorer Client

The Workspace Explorer Client has been updated to facilitate the new features found in Network Toolkit Manager and Room and Asset Booking.

Room and Asset Booking Module

• Room and Asset Booking now includes the ability to read station serial numbers from the stations directly (if this is supported by the stations BIOS) and input the serial numbers from bar code scanner.
