You can have a secure network AND a standard user desktop...
...by using Workspace Explorer in invisible mode.
One of the complaints about Network Management suites in general is that they take over the station completely, restricting what the user can do and distancing them from the industry standard Windows interface. CSE’s desktop management system, Workspace Explorer, doesn't have to be visible at all. It can sit quite happily in the background doing the things that it does best, the end user experience is completely standard Windows. Icons on the desktop and under the start button are all controlled; printers are assigned centrally; Applications can be seamlessly installed and monitored. All the Worksapce Explorer companion facilities such as notice boards, projects and the notification pages can all be accessed independently, if required, because they are all delivered via Web connections.
